We are not currently taking on full-time staff, but we are always keen to meet good people. If you are a freelancer or someone looking for extra work around a day job, we would like to hear from you – experienced or not.

Who we look for

We work across
a few different disciplines.

You do not need to tick every box. If you are good at one of these things and keen to learn the rest, that is enough for us to have a conversation.

🎥
Camera operators
Broadcast and ENG experience preferred but not essential. If you can operate a camera confidently in a live environment and take direction well, we want to hear from you.
🎛
Vision mixers
Live switching experience on ATEM or similar. Comfortable working at pace during a live show. This is one of the harder roles to fill so if you can do it, please get in touch.
📡
Network and WiFi engineers
Ubiquiti / UniFi experience is a big plus. We deploy managed WiFi networks at events so anyone with structured networking knowledge is useful to us.
💻
Streaming and encoding
Experience with hardware encoders, OBS, vMix or similar live production software. Comfortable managing a stream output during a live event.
🔧
Production assistants
No experience needed for this one. If you are reliable, good with your hands and happy to learn on the job, there is always something useful you can do on a production day.

Something else
If you have a skill that does not fit neatly into any of the above but you think it is relevant to what we do, tell us about it. We are open minded.
How it works

Honest about
what to expect.

We work with a core group of regular freelancers who we call on for most jobs. Getting into that group takes time – it starts with one job, then another, and builds from there.

We will always be straight with you about availability and rates. No vague promises about future work.

Work varies by season
Festival season runs May to September and is our busiest period. Corporate and indoor work fills the rest of the year but at a lower volume.

Based in the North East, UK-wide
Most work is within a few hours of Northumberland but we travel across the UK. Travel and accommodation covered for away jobs.

Day rates, paid on time
We pay day rates agreed in advance. No surprises, no late payments, no nonsense.

Room to grow
If you come in as a PA and want to learn vision mixing or networking, we will teach you. Most of our regular crew started that way.
