What London actually needs
London venues are rarely difficult technically. What makes them different is the access. Load-in windows are short and often overnight, freight lifts are booked by the hour, and the distance from the door to the room can be longer than the cable run inside it.
So the planning is about the building rather than the broadcast. Which entrance, which lift, what time, who signs us in, and what the venue needs in writing before any of that happens. We would rather have that sorted a fortnight out than negotiate it at a barrier.
What we do in London
Where we have worked
From village halls to the arenas. dwmedia has worked in 18 UK arenas, including The O2, AO Arena Manchester, OVO Arena Wembley and the OVO Hydro, and the same crew and kit covers a single-camera stream in a local hall. From £500 for a single camera, from £1,950 for a multi-camera day. See the estimator ›
The O2, Wembley Arena and ExCeL among them, plus theatres, conference venues and corporate offices across the city.
Yes, and in central London it is often the only option. It affects crew hours, so we build it into the plan rather than treating it as a surprise on the day.
Insurance certificates, RAMS and method statements, which we send with the quote rather than waiting to be asked. Most London venues will not let a crew through the door without them.
Tell us the venue and the date and you will get an itemised quote you can take to a budget holder.
