Live Streaming

Live event streaming &
broadcasting across the UK.

Broadcast-quality streaming, built for events that can’t go wrong.

Multi-camera live event streaming for festivals, conferences, hybrid events, tours and corporate events. We bring our own bonded internet, with no relying on venue WiFi.

Not just a camera
and a laptop.
Proper production.

Most live streaming setups are a single operator with a consumer camera and a hope that the venue WiFi holds up. That’s fine for a birthday party. It’s not fine for a 2,000-person festival or a high-profile corporate event.

dwmedia brings broadcast-grade kit, experienced operators and, critically, our own bonded internet connection to every job. Your audience gets a clean, stable, professional stream. Every time.

Professional live event streaming, done properly.

dwmedia is a UK live streaming company delivering broadcast-quality live event streaming and live event broadcasting for organisations that can’t afford for the stream to fail. We handle multi-camera live streaming for events of every size, from a single-camera conference webcast to a 27-camera festival broadcast feeding video walls and a worldwide online audience at the same time. Whether you need live streaming for events that are in-person, online or hybrid, we build the production around the outcome you need, not a fixed package.

Every live stream we run is a properly mixed broadcast, not a phone on a tripod. That means multiple broadcast cameras, live vision mixing, graphics and lower thirds, a clean audio feed from your front-of-house desk, and hardware encoding with redundant paths so a single failure never takes the stream down. Because we bring our own bonded 4G/5G connection with Starlink backup, we never depend on venue WiFi or site infrastructure for a business-critical broadcast.

Live event broadcasting for any audience

We deliver festival live streaming, hybrid event streaming for conferences and corporate events, touring show streaming, awards ceremonies, theatre, sports, graduations and funeral streaming. We can broadcast your event to YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo and custom RTMP destinations, to several platforms at once, and set up private or pay-per-view (PPV) streams where access needs to be controlled. Live event streaming services are available UK-wide from our base in the North East, covering Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, London, Birmingham and everywhere in between.

Live streaming and IMAG from one production

Many of our events combine live streaming with IMAG (image magnification) on the big screens in the room. The same vision mix that drives your LED walls can feed the live stream at the same time: one production team, two outputs, no compromise on either, and more cost-effective than running two separate crews.

FAQs

Common questions.

The cost of live event streaming depends on the number of cameras, crew, how long the event runs and whether you need extras like IMAG screens or a private/PPV stream. A single-camera webcast is very different from a multi-camera festival broadcast. Rather than a one-size-fits-all price, we build a quote around your specific event, use the planner above for a rough idea of what’s involved, or book a free discovery call and we’ll come back with an accurate figure.
Live event streaming is the real-time broadcast of an event to an online audience over the internet. We capture the event with multiple broadcast cameras, mix them live through a vision mixing desk with graphics and clean audio, encode that program feed with hardware encoders, and send it over our own bonded internet connection to platforms like YouTube, Facebook or a private player. The result is a professionally produced live broadcast that online viewers watch as it happens.
Yes. Hybrid event streaming is one of our core services. We produce a dedicated, properly mixed broadcast feed for your online audience while your in-person audience experiences the event in the room, and we can integrate live Q&A so remote viewers can take part too. See our hybrid event streaming page for more detail.
We always bring our own bonded 4G/5G internet connection as standard. This means we’re not dependent on venue WiFi for anything production-critical. On outdoor events we also bring Starlink as a secondary uplink. If your venue has a dedicated wired connection available we can use it as an additional path, but we never rely on it.
We can stream to any platform that accepts an RTMP feed, YouTube, Facebook, LinkedIn, Vimeo, Twitch and custom platforms. We can also stream simultaneously to multiple platforms from a single production. If you need a private or pay-per-view stream we can set that up too.
Yes. As well as public platforms, we can deliver access-controlled streams, password-protected, registration-gated or full pay-per-view where viewers buy a ticket to watch. This is common for awards ceremonies, ticketed performances and premium festival broadcasts. We’ll advise on the right platform and ticketing approach for your event.
For large festival and tour productions, ideally 8-12 weeks in advance so we can complete site visits, technical riders and crew planning properly. For smaller corporate and conference events, 4-6 weeks is usually workable. We do take last-minute bookings where our schedule allows, get in touch and we’ll let you know.
Live streaming sends your event to an online audience over the internet. IMAG (image magnification) puts the live camera feed onto big screens in the room so the in-person audience can see the stage close up. They’re often run together from one production, the same vision mix can drive both the LED walls and the live stream at once. Read more about IMAG and image magnification.
Yes, this is one of our most common setups. The same vision mix that feeds your LED screens can simultaneously feed a live stream output. One production, two outputs, no compromise on either. It’s more cost-effective than running two separate production teams.
Every workflow has a backup built in. We run redundant internet uplinks so if one carrier drops the others maintain the connection. Our encoders have redundant paths so a hardware failure doesn’t kill the stream. We monitor everything in real time and have contingency plans for every failure scenario, in most cases issues are resolved before your audience notices anything.
Yes, we’re UK-wide. We’re based in Ashington, Northumberland but we regularly stream events across England, Scotland and Wales, including Newcastle, Leeds, Manchester, London and Birmingham. Travel and accommodation are factored into quotes for events outside the North East.
All kit, crew, travel, pre-production calls, a technical rider for your venue, day-of setup and operation, and post-event delivery of a recorded copy of the stream. We don’t charge separately for pre-production, that’s part of doing the job properly.
