A stand costs a great deal and reaches whoever walks past it. Meanwhile the customers who could not travel, the ones in another country, and the ones sending a junior instead of a decision maker see nothing at all.
Streaming the stage sessions and the stand demos changes the arithmetic. The same spend reaches an audience beyond the hall, and you leave with content rather than just conversations.
It also has to survive an exhibition hall, which is a hostile place for a broadcast. Ambient noise, a network shared with several hundred exhibitors, and a build schedule that changes hourly. We plan for all three rather than discovering them on the stand.
What a hall demands
Yes, and it is a different job from a stage session. A stand needs a compact rig, careful audio and a plan for people walking through shot.
We do not rely on it. Exhibition networks are shared with hundreds of exhibitors, so bonded 4G and 5G travel with us and your session does not depend on the hall.
Directional and clip microphones rather than camera mics, and positions chosen with the floor noise in mind. Audio is the thing most stand video gets wrong.
Yes. Clips cut on the day so your team can post while the hall is open and the enquiry is still warm.
Yes. The rig stays in place across days, which makes the second and third day cheaper than the first.
The stage sessions and demos as usable files, with captions where the content is going on your website.
If nobody outside the hall is going to watch and you do not need the content afterwards, the money is better spent on the stand. We will say so.
Tell us the show, the hall and what you want to come away with, and we will tell you what it takes.
