When people ring us they rarely lead with the technical spec. They lead with the problem. Tenants cannot get to the venue. The board recording has to go on the website. The vice chancellor wants families in Lagos watching the graduation live.
The cameras follow from that, not the other way round. So these pages are organised by who you are rather than by what kit we would bring, because the constraints you are working inside are what actually shape the job.

dwmedia works UK-wide from a base in Ashington, Northumberland, delivering live event streaming and live video production across housing, the public sector, education, corporate communications, faith organisations and the events industry itself. The common thread across most of our work is that the event only happens once and someone in the room is accountable for it going well.
What differs by sector is rarely the equipment. It is the constraints around it. A housing association has a regulator interested in whether tenants can genuinely take part. A university has families in six time zones. An NHS trust has a board meeting that has to be held in public and archived afterwards. An agency has a client who must never find out that part of the job was subcontracted. Those are the things that determine how a job is built, and they are what these pages are actually about.
What stays the same everywhere
We crew our live jobs, because a camera nobody is watching is not coverage. We bring our own connectivity as standard, using bonded cellular and satellite rather than trusting venue WiFi that was designed for guests checking email. And we own our core equipment rather than cross-hiring it, which means we know how it behaves and we can swap something out at short notice when it misbehaves.
