What Cardiff actually needs

Two languages on one screen.

Public sector and cultural work in Wales usually needs Welsh alongside English, and that decision changes the production rather than just the wording. Bilingual lower thirds need more screen space, bilingual captions need more lead time, and a bilingual programme has to be planned rather than translated on the day.

It is worth raising early because it affects the graphics build, the caption workflow and sometimes the camera framing. Left until the week before, it becomes a compromise. Settled at the planning stage, it costs very little.

Beyond that, Cardiff runs the full range. Utilita Arena Cardiff is on our arena list, and the Bay venues and civic buildings are ordinary indoor rooms we treat as such.

Where we have worked

Venues in and around Cardiff.

Utilita Arena Cardiff Wales Millennium Centre and the Bay venues Civic and conference venues across south Wales
The same standard everywhere A crewed rig with a director cutting live, broadcast audio off the desk, and a programme record of the show. The postcode changes, the standard does not.
Connectivity comes with us Bonded 4G and 5G across multiple carriers plus Starlink. A dedicated tested venue line gets used where there is one, and guest WiFi never carries a broadcast.
Paperwork before it is asked for Insurance certificates and RAMS with the quote, which is what most venues in Cardiff will want before they let us through the door.

Cardiff questions.

Can you deliver a bilingual Welsh and English stream?

Yes, and it is worth settling at the planning stage. Bilingual lower thirds need more screen space and bilingual captions need more lead time, so it changes the graphics build rather than just the wording.

Have you worked in Utilita Arena Cardiff?

Yes. It is one of the 15 major UK arenas we have delivered live production in, as part of arena tour work.

Do you cover the rest of south Wales?

Yes. Corporate streams, civic meetings and conferences across the region, with our own connectivity so a venue with no usable line is a planning detail rather than a blocker.
