What Milton Keynes actually needs

An outdoor bowl is not an arena.

Milton Keynes National Bowl is the venue we have worked most, and it behaves nothing like an indoor arena. Everything arrives on a vehicle, cable runs cross public walkways, the camera positions have to survive a hillside full of people, and the weather gets a vote on the day.

Four consecutive years at Reggae Land since 2023 means the plan is not theoretical. We know where the production position sits, how far the runs are to the far rail, and which angles hold up when the crowd fills the slope. Chase & Status played to 45,000 there and the same rig covered Youngblood the following day. Those jobs and the rest of the Bowl work are on our work.

The rest of the city is a different job again. The conference and civic venues are straightforward indoor rooms, and we treat them that way rather than turning up with a festival rig.

Milton Keynes questions.

Have you worked at the National Bowl before?

Repeatedly. Reggae Land for four consecutive years since 2023, plus Chase & Status to 45,000 people, Bludfest, Tribes Unite and Youngblood. It is the venue we know best of any in the country.

Can you do IMAG on the Bowl screens?

Yes, and it is most of what we do there. Multi-camera coverage to the video walls so the crowd on the slope and the far rail see the stage properly, with a broadcast feed running from the same production where the event wants one.

What about power and connectivity on an open site?

Both are planning items rather than assumptions. We ask what generator is coming and what else is on it, and bonded 4G, 5G and Starlink travel with us so a site with no line is not a problem.
